Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead build and deployment activities for new programmes, partnering with stakeholders and advising suppliers on delivery readiness.
  • •Design, establish, and continuously improve build, packaging, and deployment pipelines for releases and patches.
  • •Support supplier development teams with build/versioning/release strategies and resolve complex technical issues.
  • •Review delivery documentation and acceptance-test materials to ensure required technical and operational standards are met.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in Linux build, release, or deployment engineering (8+ years for expert-level roles).
  • •Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience in distributed, production environments.
  • •Hands-on experience with automated OS provisioning at scale and advanced Ansible (standards and best practices).
  • •Knowledge of software build systems, Linux packaging, deployment processes, and change management/security (hardening, secure protocols, vulnerability testing).
  • •Experience with version control, release management, and scripting using Bash, Python or Perl (plus degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field).
