Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and analyze stormwater management systems, including sizing detention/retention basins, preparing drainage calculations and reports, and developing permit-ready drainage documentation.
  • •Prepare site civil engineering plans (site layout, grading, utility coordination, access/circulation, erosion control) and support permit and construction document development from entitlement through IFC plans.
  • •Design electrical infrastructure for fiber/telecommunications facilities, including three-phase power distribution, conduit routing, service entrances, and electrical code compliance for construction-ready drawings and specifications.
  • •Coordinate permitting strategy and agency work by leading scheduling and pre-application/application activities, compiling and submitting permit applications, and resolving review comments through approval.
  • •Collaborate with other disciplines, utility providers, and clients to ensure complete and accurate submittals and to advance projects through permitting, approval, and construction.

Key Requirements

  • •Stormwater Designer: BA/BS in Civil, Environmental or Water Resources Engineering (ABET-accredited) and 2 years of professional stormwater management/design experience.
  • •Stormwater Engineer: BA/BS in Civil, Environmental or Water Resources Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 6 years of stormwater management/design experience.
  • •Site Civil Designer: BA/BS in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited), 2 years of civil design experience, and experience with AutoCad and Revit.
  • •Site Civil Engineer: BA/BS in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited), 6 years of site civil design experience for telecommunications and/or utility projects, and an active Professional Engineering License.
  • •Permitting Professionals: BA/BS in Environmental or Urban Planning (or closely related) with 2 years of permit strategy and agency coordination experience, or civil/telecom/utility project experience.
