Key Responsibilities

  • •Diagnose problems and make repairs to heavy equipment including cranes, loaders, and dozers.
  • •Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment for bulk unloading, loading, transfer, and storage operations.
  • •Dismantle and repair equipment components including engines, motors/generators, hydraulic/pneumatic attachments, and control/fuel/brake systems.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and inspect protective guards, bolts, and safety devices, making adjustments as needed.
  • •Provide emergency response to minimize terminal downtime and ensure repaired units are in operational condition.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • •Experience working on heavy equipment including dozers, wheel loaders, fork trucks, and excavators.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • •Previous experience in an industrial or bulk handling facility preferred.
  • •Must be able to work overtime, respond to callouts, work long hours (in excess of 12 hours when required), pass drug/background checks, and attain a TWIC.
