Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide inspection and field testing services for asphalt road construction projects.
  • •Take nuclear or PQI gauge readings and record results in log books to maintain density requirements.
  • •Use profilograph and core drilling equipment to collect data and field density core samples for specifications.
  • •Evaluate test data, make process changes as necessary to keep results within specification limits, and maintain a test results database when required.
  • •Maintain testing equipment, transport equipment safely, and work at Midsouth asphalt plants and job sites as assigned.
