Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment using independent judgment.
  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose root causes quickly.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and follow OSHA requirements (preferred).
  • •Maintain complete daily electronic documentation of work performed and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
  • •Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed, and travel to customer job sites for field mechanic work when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with strong working knowledge of tools.
  • •Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, including advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Trade school certificate preferred; high school diploma required, plus experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
  • •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks like standing, stooping, and bending; must pass a 10-panel drug screen.
