Job Summary

Perform specialized engineering and/or project management for pipeline and measurement system operations. Lead engineering and optimization activities across transmission/gathering systems, measurement and regulation facilities, compressor/pump stations, dehydration plants, and gas/NGL processing. Provide technical assistance on equipment and system design, pipeline control, and process safety. Review engineering work and conduct studies (including load studies and economic analysis) to recommend improvements and support construction plans and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Direct, perform, coordinate, and/or approve engineering and/or project management activities for pipeline system planning, design, procurement, construction, and optimization.
•Provide technical and engineering assistance, including equipment/system design, pipeline sizing and evaluation, pipeline control, and measurement/regulation facility design and operation.
•Direct and review project management activities such as bid proposals and contracts, AFE preparation and cost management, and management of change (MOC).
•Review work by engineers on equipment efficiencies, hydraulic calculations, valve and pipe sizing, and gas flow analysis; conduct and review engineering studies and analyses.
•Oversee pipeline system evaluation and improvements, perform load studies and economic analysis for proposed projects, and help mentor less experienced engineers.

Salary: USD 127,000 - 191,000

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related field.
•Typically 10+ years of experience in engineering, operations and/or project management.
•Experience in transmission/gathering pipeline operations, gas measurement/regulation, and processing/storage operations.
•Experience with natural gas and/or NGL engineering design criteria in pipeline systems and related facilities design, construction, operation, and maintenance.
•Experience using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Project, Access, and Word, and preparing engineering studies, specifications, budgets, and reports.
