Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with design of building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
  • •Support development of construction documents, technical specifications, calculations, and reports.
  • •Participate in electrical load calculations, short-circuit studies, voltage drop analyses, and lighting calculations.
  • •Use Revit, AutoCAD, and other engineering software to develop project designs and documentation, and coordinate with other project stakeholders.
  • •Contribute to site visits, field investigations, construction observation, and review of shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs under guidance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • •0–1 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
  • •Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
  • •Basic understanding of electrical power systems and building electrical design principles, including familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong written/verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
