Key Responsibilities

  • •Speak with customers by phone, face to face or online and gather information.
  • •Carry out functional health assessments and gather accurate, detailed information.
  • •Consult with treating healthcare professionals where appropriate.
  • •Produce fair, high-quality reports on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions.
  • •Use observational and note-taking skills to ensure each customer is treated with care and respect.

Key Requirements

  • •One year of post-registration experience as a Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Pharmacist.
  • •Full registration with a UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or equivalent), active PIN and no restrictions.
  • •Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to write concise, accurate reports.
  • •Good IT skills and the ability to work efficiently under time pressures.
  • •Vetting and checks: Enhanced DBS check prior to starting in role.
