Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist residents with personal care duties including bathing and dressing, and continence care, upholding dignity and independence.
  • •Support residents at mealtimes, including serving meals and assisting with mobility or transfers.
  • •Promote residents’ mental and physical activity through hobbies and activities within the village.
  • •Respond to emergency calls when the care alert system is activated.
  • •Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided and any changes in residents’ health.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a care or dementia setting, or a Level 2/3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • •Your passion for caring for others, honoring choices, and prioritizing safety and well-being.
  • •Excellent listener with an optimistic attitude and ability to engage with residents and families while maintaining confidentiality.
  • •Willingness to collaborate with GPs, Chiropodists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists when appropriate.
  • •Ability to keep accurate records and manage admin duties.
