Key Responsibilities

•Operate straight-in-line trucks with airbrakes and truck-trailer combinations (typically 10,000 to 32,000 lb GVW) to transport cargo, personnel, and materials.
•Verify cargo documents and conduct visual inspections to ensure vehicles are not overloaded.
•Receive inbound cargo, screen for prohibited or undesirable contents using commercial-grade X-ray equipment, and transport materials daily.
•Assist with loading and unloading materials using electric, gasoline, or diesel-powered forklifts (4,000 to 10,000 lb), including special attachments.
•Handle sensitive or classified materials securely per DoD transportation and screening protocols, and perform preventive maintenance on vehicles/equipment.
