Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor production and product using sensory, weight control, and analytical methods to maintain consistency and specifications.
  • •Evaluate finished products for moisture, ingredient content, breakage, color, package fill, seal integrity, code date legibility, and overall quality.
  • •Accurately perform, document, and support testing for incoming materials, in-process products, finished goods, and supplier-produced items, including equipment validation/calibration.
  • •Communicate out-of-compliance situations to production employees and Production/QA Supervisors; identify and determine whether product should be placed on hold.
  • •Execute and monitor the Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan with effectiveness and conformance with the SQF program; monitor metal detection validation & verification.

Key Requirements

  • •1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred (not required).
