Lead structural engineering design for Australia mining infrastructure projects, preparing foundation, steel, and concrete calculations in line with WSP and client standards. Use tools such as Space Gass, STAAD Pro, SACS, Tekla, E3D, or S3D to perform analysis and design, including loads, members, and structural connections. Coordinate across disciplines, prepare drawings and specifications, and apply Australian Standards and international codes while supporting client-focused delivery in a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare foundation, steel structure, and concrete structure design calculation in compliance with industry standards.
•Perform analysis and design using software such as Space Gass, STAAD Pro, SACS, Tekla, E3D, or S3D.
•Prepare civil and structural drawings, specifications, and design calculations, including loads and structural member selection.
•Design shallow and deep foundations, concrete piles, underground concrete vaults and tunnels, slab reinforcement, and steel structures (including trusses and support towers).
•Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and apply Australian Standards and international codes while providing progress updates and ensuring health and safety in work practices.

Key Requirements

•8-12 years of experience in structures engineering.
•Bachelor’s degree in civil and a preferred master’s degree in civil/structures engineering.
•Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
•Familiarity with working in a LEAN environment.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Australian and/or EPCM experience in O&G/Power/Mining is an advantage.
