Key Responsibilities

•Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
•Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
•Develop and make available informational financial materials to service members and families.
•Coordinate, publicize and provide a wide variety of Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
•Possess the skills to effectively utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes of communication (web-based chat, video teleconference) as authorized by the program.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree required; may consider an associate degree with 4 years of experience or a high school diploma with 6 years of experience.
•3+ years of financial counseling experience.
•Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; bilingual in English and Spanish if required by contract.
•Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification.
•Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass OCI disclosures.
