Job Summary

Senior risk professional advising on Wealth Management transformation initiatives, providing independent review and challenge across operational, regulatory, fiduciary, technology and third‑party risks. Partners with Wealth Management leaders to align risk appetite and governance with strategic change, new products, services and vendors, escalating to Corporate Risk as needed.

Job Function: Legal, Risk & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a risk advisor to the Business on transformation initiatives and material change activity, including initial high-level views and channeling to appropriate risk evaluation and governance processes
•Engage with business strategy and transformation initiatives to understand growth, product development and client prospects from a risk perspective
•Demonstrate broad knowledge across risk disciplines (operational, regulatory, fiduciary, technology, third-party, data/digital) and strong understanding of risk governance and risk appetite
•Assess risks from material incidents and issues, including reviewing and challenging the Business’s risk evaluation process
•Support Corporate Risk in developing risk frameworks and programs and escalate to risk owners as needed
•Participate in Business Unit risk forums and committees and communicate with senior/executive management on risks
•Maintain familiarity with the firm’s structure, products, technology and data workstreams to provide informed risk insights
•Develop and present recommendations on operations and controls to partners at all levels

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 114,700 - 194,900 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience in financial services with a focus on Risk Management, preferably with Wealth Management domain knowledge
•Risk advisory roles in strategic change projects – new product, new business, business expansion
•Strong evaluation skills and ability to provide risk advice on a broad range of issues, initiatives and scenarios
•Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills to apply to all levels of an organization and in particular, at risk forums
•Ability to establish trust-based relationships with stakeholders across enterprise and lead them towards common objectives across teams
