Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders using the company’s technology; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Diagnose equipment issues by pulling data across hundreds of makes and models and determine root cause and corrective action.
  • •Perform maintenance and repairs for complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment.
  • •Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed; practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts and travel to customer job sites for repairs when required; assist in training lower level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools and extensive knowledge of construction equipment, including schematics and diagrams.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred; experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
