Key Responsibilities

  • •Deploy zero-trust network access and secure cloud perimeter/infrastructure access controls across cloud and physical lab/office environments.
  • •Safeguard high-value engineering compute environments, CAD/EDA tools, and proprietary chip design repositories from exfiltration and unauthorized access.
  • •Design and run end-to-end vulnerability management, coordinating scanning, prioritization, and remediation tracking with engineering teams.
  • •Build and maintain incident response runbooks and serve as primary incident commander during security events, including forensics and post-mortems.
  • •Own the security compliance library and support SOC 2 Type II certification (e.g., with Vanta or Drata), coordinating with engineering and General Counsel.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in security engineering, infrastructure security, or cybersecurity leadership, including being the primary security owner at a company under 200 people.
  • •Hands-on ownership of a SIEM/EDR stack end-to-end.
  • •Demonstrated IAM/PAM ownership in a modern IdP (Okta or equivalent), including RBAC and access reviews.
  • •Direct experience leading at least one SOC 2 Type II audit cycle, including auditor-facing evidence delivery.
  • •Working knowledge of export control frameworks (ITAR/EAR) as applied to technical data and access control.
