Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and DOT inspections, and complete follow-up repairs on a mobile/field basis.
  • •Conduct minor adjustments and repairs across truck systems (e.g., electrical/brakes/cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials).
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment provided on a company service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Maintain and operate the company-issued service vehicle, performing safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document repairs and upload required photos and findings on Repair Orders (RO) using an iOS device and the TRAIT application; complete DOT forms and other documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED with up to 2 years’ experience in a related field.
  • •Possess and supply required hand tools to perform job duties.
  • •Have a current and valid DOT medical card (or complete a DOT physical as required).
  • •Be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license with ability to maintain a Driver Qualification File.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months (ASE T4 (Brakes) preferred).
