Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver highway engineering designs and construction drawings for UK-based projects in line with DMRB and relevant UK standards.
  • •Undertake geometric design, including horizontal & vertical alignments, junctions, and corridor modelling.
  • •Prepare road design elements such as pavement layouts, drainage strategies, and signage & road markings.
  • •Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (drainage, structures, utilities) to develop integrated design solutions.
  • •Manage multiple projects/work packages while ensuring compliance with QA processes and Health & Safety policies, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong knowledge and experience of UK highway design standards, including road geometry, pavement, signages, and road markings.
  • •Hands-on experience in highway geometric design, junction and corridor design, and pavement/drainage coordination.
  • •Proficiency with design software including Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads, MX, PDS/KeyLINES, and AutoCAD.
  • •Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • •Good written and verbal communication skills to liaise with UK project teams and stakeholders.
