Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and test physical security electronics at electrical substations for federal customers, including PACS and related intrusion detection and IP video surveillance systems. Travel extensively as a road warrior supporting coverage across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as an electronics technician on assigned projects, working independently or with a small team.
•Support federal agencies with migration, upgrades, and installation of physical security infrastructure at electrical substation facilities.
•Install electronic and technical security systems per DoD and DoS guidelines and requirements.
•Read, interpret, and draw electrical/electronic/electro-mechanical schematics and follow wiring guidelines using blueprints.
•Perform maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and testing of security wiring and power circuits using test equipment.

Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

•Must be a US citizen able to obtain and maintain a customer clearance (background checks included).
•2 years hands-on experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and servicing IDS and PACS, IP video surveillance, and other security systems.
•Current valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles.
•High school diploma or equivalent; or graduation from military electronic/communication technician courses (or at least 5 years technical experience in lieu).
•Experience installing electronics/electrical security systems including intrusion detection, access control, CCTV/security cameras, intercoms, mass notification, conduit installation, and low-voltage electrical systems.
