Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, run, and document the fund’s operating playbook to institutional standards from day one.
  • •Drive fund formation with counsel: vehicle/jurisdiction selection, LPA and side letters, and GP/management company setup.
  • •Own service provider stack selection and economics, including administrator, auditor, tax advisors, custody/banking, and compliance vendors.
  • •Run core fund operations: capital calls/distributions, LP onboarding and KYC/AML, expense management, and cash movement controls.
  • •Own valuation and NAV oversight, build ILPA-aligned reporting, and maintain diligence-ready processes and audit coordination.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years in fund operations, fund CFO, or fund controllership roles at private credit or other private capital funds.
  • •Taken at least one private fund from formation through first close; understand what breaks and how to prevent it.
  • •Deep working knowledge of LPA terms, fund administration, capital call mechanics, and ILPA reporting standards.
  • •Experience selecting and managing fund service providers (fund administrator, auditor, tax advisors, banking/custody, and compliance vendors).
  • •Ability to build and scale fund operating playbooks, documented controls, and a diligence-ready reporting environment.
