Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and unscheduled repairs on semiconductor/fab equipment to restore tools to production-ready status and minimize downtime.
  • •Lead troubleshooting and repair of complex equipment malfunctions.
  • •Develop, refine, and document standardized maintenance procedures for assigned equipment.
  • •Collaborate with process engineers to improve equipment stability, process control, and MTBF; identify and resolve recurring failures using RCA methods (DMAIC, 8D).
  • •Ensure maintenance activities follow cleanroom protocols, safety regulations, environmental compliance, and LOTO; document maintenance and parts usage in the ISS inventory tracker.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience as an Equipment Engineer in high-volume semiconductor frontend manufacturing (or OEM field service tool support).
  • •Proven expertise setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting semiconductor/fab equipment (e.g., listed tool types).
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with RCA experience (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone).
  • •Ability to read and interpret technical schematics (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, P&ID) and work in a cleanroom environment, participating in ERT activities.
