Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical direction for a defined portion of the ARA production process and share responsibility for department performance in safety, health, environment, quality, and production.
  • •Observe and analyze process operations to identify optimization opportunities; assist with predictive and preventative programs and lead process troubleshooting.
  • •Develop proposals to optimize production capacity/capability and manage small capital projects as needed.
  • •Follow change control processes and ensure completion of change control documentation (e.g., P&ID CAD drawings, red lines, PSM, SOPS, ISO) for process changes.
  • •Implement SHEQ policy compliance; participate in and lead investigations of safety/environmental incidents (including root cause analysis and corrective actions) and HAZOP/pre-startup safety reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Engineering (or related technical discipline) required; Masters Degree preferred.
  • •5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably with chemicals, fermentation, or biological processes.
  • •Knowledge of production processes and relevant manufacturing excellence processes (e.g., Asset Utilization and Operate Plant Normal).
  • •Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental practices (e.g., PHA and RCA) and ability to implement SHEQ compliance.
  • •Must be able to independently manage process optimization and support shift, weekend, and holiday schedules as required.
