Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop hardware product strategy, product vision, and a multi-year roadmap across Clover’s device portfolio and accessories ecosystem aligned to business priorities and annual operating plan.
  • •Drive end-to-end product development from ideation to launch, collaborating with engineering, industrial design, and manufacturing partners through EVT/DVT/PVT stages.
  • •Lead EMV and PCI certification strategy and coordinate with certification labs to ensure compliant, timely launches; plan international hardware expansion with regional certification requirements.
  • •Define accessories and peripherals strategy, including build/buy/partner decisions and attach-rate goals, coordinating with industrial design, finance, and sales channel teams.
  • •Partner with product marketing, finance, sales channels, and business development to align roadmaps, positioning, value propositions, messaging, and pricing; manage KPIs across hardware quality and commercial metrics.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years focused on hardware or hardware-adjacent products in payments, fintech, or consumer electronics.
  • •Experience managing hardware portfolios across owned products and third-party partner integrations, including vendor selection, commercial negotiation, and go-to-market coordination.
  • •Ability to connect hardware decisions to business outcomes such as pricing, packaging, channel fit, and merchant value proposition.
  • •Understanding of the payments ecosystem, including EMV standards, PCI compliance, card-present transaction flows, and acquirer/network relationships.
  • •Experience taking hardware products through full development cycles, including ODM/OEM partnerships and certification processes.
