Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end satellite architecture, design, and specification across the program life cycle (Phases 0/A to E).
  • •Support CONOPS, E2E satellite performance, and V&V strategies; translate customer/RFP requirements into architectures and payload mission/operations concepts.
  • •Manage technical definition, deliverables, schedule, cost, quality, and technical risk through final customer acceptance.
  • •Coordinate industrial and stakeholder interfaces across Space, Ground, Launch, and User segments, ensuring safety review requirements are met.
  • •Adapt standard product development processes to be lean and support industrialization, production, integrated logistics, and continuous safe operations.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Engineering with 10+ years of professional experience, including 5 to 8 years dedicated to Systems Engineering.
  • •Proven experience with optical/RF communication satellite payloads, LEO satellite constellations, and space mission design/V&V in Phase B/C/D projects.
  • •Experience across the system lifecycle (Phases 0/A to E) and strong understanding of ECSS engineering standards.
  • •Solid knowledge of export control regulations (EAR, ITAR) and experience with military customers and government authorities.
  • •Proficiency with DOORS and MS Office/Google Workspace; CAMEO, MOFLT, Matlab, and MBSE/VPM/Obeya are desirable; C1-level English and German required.
