Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own the testing strategy for packaging materials, aligning validation plans with food safety, supply chain, and product goals.
  • •Identify gaps in validation coverage and design new test protocols to close them.
  • •Oversee and continuously improve use of mechanical testing equipment, climate chambers, leak testers, and related lab infrastructure.
  • •Analyze test data to identify trends, risks, and root causes; report validation status and proactively flag risks.
  • •Evolve equipment/test operating procedures and maintain lab standards (5S) and safety/compliance policies while partnering cross-functionally with Packaging, Food Safety, and Supply Chain.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in materials testing, packaging engineering, or a related lab/engineering environment.
  • •Degree or strong background in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Strong data analysis skills, with comfort translating technical results into business-relevant insights.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with statistical or data analysis tools is a plus.
  • •Good English spoken and written; German is considered a plus.
