Job Summary

Develop and operate the central Enterprise Job Scheduling platform with internal teams and external service partners, ensuring stable, secure, and future-ready operations. Configure and optimize jobs, job chains, calendars, schedules, and dependencies so business-critical background processes run reliably and transparently. Diagnose platform/application/interface/process issues during incidents, drive scheduling concepts, and support integrations, releases, migrations, and change-related improvements while maintaining compliance and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and run the central Enterprise Job Scheduling platform together with internal teams and external service partners, ensuring secure and future-ready operations.
•Configure and optimize jobs, job chains, calendars, schedules, and dependencies for reliable and transparent execution of business-critical background processes.
•Analyze incident root causes systematically and distinguish between platform, application, interface, and process issues to involve the right teams quickly.
•Collaborate with IT product teams to develop scheduling concepts and support integration of new applications and business processes into the automation platform.
•Manage changes, releases, migrations, and production-near adjustments to minimize operational downtime, and develop standards for job design, documentation, alerting, and operations.

Key Requirements

•Successfully completed degree in (business) informatics or comparable IT training with relevant experience.
•Several years of experience operating and continuously improving enterprise job scheduling, workload automation, or comparable automation platforms.
•Experience operating business-critical IT platforms and the ability to systematically analyze complex technical incidents and implement sustainable solutions.
•Good understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows environments and how they interact with applications, interfaces, and infrastructure.
•Collaborative communication with application teams, infrastructure, service management, and external service providers.
