Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop daily transportation and order plans across the distribution network, including hub-and-spoke shipment coordination between sites, stores, and warehouses.
  • •Optimize freight flow for cost, service, and efficiency by analyzing capacity, route utilization, and delivery performance.
  • •Create and manage shipping, receiving, and transportation schedules; adjust plans based on volume, carrier availability, weather, and operational needs.
  • •Schedule and manage carrier pickups, deliveries, and dock appointments; monitor performance, service levels, and detention risks while proactively resolving transportation issues and appointment conflicts.
  • •Plan and execute Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) and coordinate inventory transfers with 3PL providers; track logistics KPIs and identify process improvements.
