  • •Practice safe work behaviours and support the mine safety culture through daily and monthly safety participation
  • •Assist with survey data collection, processing, and interpretation to support operations and projects
  • •Assist with drill pattern design, blast planning, monitoring, and post-blast analysis
  • •Contribute to short-term planning tasks including design, scheduling, and data analysis
  • •Perform data QA/QC and prepare reports and summaries for stakeholders

Key Requirements

  • •Enrolled in a University degree in Mining Engineering and a 2nd-year student or above
  • •Must demonstrate eligibility to work in Canada
  • •Open-pit mining experience is considered an asset
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • •Experience with SQL, Python, and Surpac is considered an asset; must have a valid Class 5/7N British Columbia driver’s license and access to personal transportation
