Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide non-clinical peer support as a member advocate, sharing coping skills and recovery information to improve health outcomes.
  • •Guide members in creating Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) and support wellness self-management and crisis prevention strategies.
  • •Use lived experience to inspire hope and empowerment, and engage members in inpatient and community settings to support post-crisis planning and transitions.
  • •Implement and monitor strategies to improve health and quality of life outcomes for members and families, including follow-up appointment support.
  • •Document all interactions per company standards and travel within the community to meet members as required.

Salary: USD 41,505 - 62,255 annually

Key Requirements

  • •CPRS/CPS/CPSS/CRPS/PRSS Peer Specialist as required by state.
  • •Must have or obtain the National Peer Support Credential (NCPS/NCPRSS) within one year of hire.
  • •Self-identified person in recovery with lived experience as a current or former user of mental health/substance use services.
  • •Have a vehicle in good working condition and be able to travel within the field regularly.
  • •Knowledge of wellness and recovery principles/tools such as WRAP and community-based peer support organizations and services.
