Job Summary

Lead Bose’s Ecodesign / Sustainable Design compliance domain, translating emerging design-impactful regulations into clear engineering requirements that protect market access. Own technical guidance for product development teams, distill complex regulatory obligations into actionable design expectations (e.g., recycled content, recyclability, reusability, void space, replaceability), and integrate requirements across hardware, materials, packaging, serviceability, documentation, and labeling. Partner closely with Legal and domain owners to monitor, interpret, and continuously improve compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the technical compliance perspective for the Ecodesign / Sustainable Design domain and provide guidance product development teams can implement.
•Distill complex Ecodesign regulations into clear engineering expectations and design guidance, including requirements tied to recycled content, recyclability, reusability, packaging void space, and user replaceability.
•Integrate Ecodesign requirements across engineering functions and compliance domains to prevent gaps when obligations span safety, materials, energy efficiency, packaging, serviceability, documentation, or labeling.
•Partner with Legal to monitor and interpret Ecodesign regulatory developments and ensure requirements are identified with sufficient lead time.
•Develop and continuously improve Ecodesign requirements, technical guidance, and frameworks to support consistent execution across programs and resolve cross-domain ambiguity.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 115,700 - 159,050 annually

•Strong cross-functional influence to align engineering, packaging, sourcing, service, and compliance stakeholders without direct authority.
