Job Summary

Operate and support F5 BIG-IP load-balancing infrastructure, including Local Traffic Manager (LTM) for SLB and BIG-IP DNS (GSLB). Provide L2 incident and service request support for DMZ SLBs and perimeter GSLBs, perform monitoring and performance tuning, execute change requests, and assist with patching, upgrades, and hardware maintenance. Ensure secure traffic flow for banking applications and support security audits and compliance evidence within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide Level 2 support for incidents and service requests related to DMZ SLBs and perimeter GSLBs, resolving complex issues from L1 escalations.
•Perform health checks, proactive monitoring, and performance tuning of the load balancing infrastructure.
•Execute change requests for network/security modifications, including new virtual server configurations, pool updates, and iRule adjustments under change management controls.
•Support patching, software upgrades, and hardware maintenance for F5 BIG-IP devices, including work during non-business hours as needed.
•Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices for the banking sector, assist with security audits, and support incident analysis and root-cause remediation.

Key Requirements

•4-6 years of relevant experience.
•In-depth knowledge of F5 BIG-IP LTM (Local Traffic Manager) and GTM (Global Traffic Manager).
•Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade load balancers and core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
•Strong understanding of routing/security protocols including BGP and OSPF, plus SSL/TLS and VPNs.
•Ability to work in a strict, regulated environment and follow security/compliance protocols such as PCI DSS.
