Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimate multiple projects concurrently and deliver proposals to sales staff before bid date.
  • •Contact vendors for pricing, and review vendor quotes to ensure items meet designs/specifications.
  • •Review sales proposals with sales staff to confirm estimating, requirements, time frames, and subcontracting opportunities.
  • •Support turnover/kickoff meetings and confirm scope and estimate values; help begin project scheduling.
  • •Assist with change order proposals and monitor project progress to proactively remove obstacles and expedite schedules.

Key Requirements

  • •Estimating/project management experience preferred, ideally in construction or precast concrete.
  • •Ability to manage multiple complex bids/projects simultaneously.
  • •Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • •Associates Degree or Civil Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • •Strong organizational and communication skills; willingness to learn company management systems; ability to understand engineered drawings/blueprints.
