Job Summary

Estimate multiple construction/precast-related projects concurrently and prepare proposals for the sales team before bid dates. Coordinate with vendors to price needed items and verify quotes match required designs and specifications. Review sales proposals with sales staff, participate in turnover/kickoff meetings, assist with change order proposals, and monitor project status to help prevent schedule slippage while providing technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

•Estimate multiple projects concurrently and deliver proposals to sales staff before bid date.
•Contact vendors for pricing, and review vendor quotes to ensure items meet designs/specifications.
•Review sales proposals with sales staff to confirm estimating, requirements, time frames, and subcontracting opportunities.
•Support turnover/kickoff meetings and confirm scope and estimate values; help begin project scheduling.
•Assist with change order proposals and monitor project progress to proactively remove obstacles and expedite schedules.

Key Requirements

•Estimating/project management experience preferred, ideally in construction or precast concrete.
•Ability to manage multiple complex bids/projects simultaneously.
•Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
•Associates Degree or Civil Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience).
•Strong organizational and communication skills; willingness to learn company management systems; ability to understand engineered drawings/blueprints.
