Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and champion internal quality/reliability programmes, defining and evangelizing an internal reliability roadmap.
  • •Build SDLC observability pipelines and self-service dashboards to improve delivery efficiency and surface SDLC bottlenecks.
  • •Define and automate key quality/deployment health metrics such as Change Failure Rate and Deployment Frequency.
  • •Architect shift-left CI/CD pipeline gates for performance, security, and accessibility at the PR level.
  • •Develop load/performance testing practices and safe synthetic data canaries, leveraging tools like k6/Locust/Gatling/JMeter and AI-assisted testing frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of software experience with proficiency in one or more languages such as Python or Go, and comfort across technical systems.
  • •Experience working with developer infrastructure, production telemetry, and querying/processing data from tool APIs (e.g., GitHub, Linear, GCP, Sentry, Grafana, incident.io).
  • •Instrument and implement quality metrics such as Change Failure Rate, Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Time to Restore, Regression Rate, Release Failure Rate, PR-failure rate, code review depth, or SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
  • •Experience building and refactoring complex distributed systems and using declarative infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • •Hands-on load/performance testing and AI-enabled testing tool strategies, including safe synthetic data handling to protect real user telemetry.
