Job Summary

We’re hiring a product engineer to build the agentic software layer between frontier models, scientific data, lab systems, and scientists. You’ll design interfaces, orchestrate tools and agents, and shape end-to-end product experiences—from APIs and backend systems to UX and observability—empowering materials scientists to plan experiments, run analyses, and turn results into decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Prototype quickly and ship continuously, building high-leverage products that become part of scientists' daily workflow and refining them from lab and customer feedback.
•Build agentic products and interfaces on top of frontier models and scientific data, including copilots, experiment planning systems, workflow automation, and new interaction patterns beyond chat.
•Design how scientists direct, supervise, and collaborate with AI agents across experiment planning, execution, analysis, and decision-making.
•Work with model researchers to shape product behavior, telemetry, and feedback loops that improve both product experience and underlying models.
•Own the product end-to-end, from data model and backend systems to APIs, user experience, deployment, and observability.

Key Requirements

•Experience building product interfaces that sit between machine learning models, data sources, lab systems, and end users to enable scientific workflows.
•Ability to design end-to-end product experiences, including data models, backend systems, APIs, and user interfaces.
•Collaborate closely with model researchers to shape product behavior, telemetry, evaluation signals, and feedback loops.
•Prototype quickly and ship continuously to deliver high-leverage products used in scientists' daily workflow.
•Turn bottlenecks observed in the lab into product solutions before they’re formally requested.
