Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess prototypes across the company and decide whether to harden, rebuild, or redirect, owning outcomes end-to-end.
  • •Design, build, and ship secure, reliable services on Robinhood’s enterprise platforms to engineering standards.
  • •Drive AI-native development by using agents for first-pass assessment, porting, and test scaffolding, and ship agent-related artifacts when needed.
  • •Partner directly with sponsoring business units to translate real workflows into software people adopt.
  • •Create operational handoffs including runbooks, evals, and dashboards, and establish reusable platform patterns.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of software engineering experience building and running production backend or full-stack systems, delivering end-to-end projects.
  • •Hands-on cloud depth with GCP preferred, including containerized services, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code with a serverless focus.
  • •Daily fluency with agentic coding tools, experience building LLM-powered applications or agentic workflows, and the judgment to review and productionize AI-generated code.
  • •Product sense and scoping discipline to determine what to keep from prototypes and complete the work end-to-end.
