Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Field Verification platform’s technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap end to end.
  • •Lead and grow the cross-functional team, and define hiring/development direction for engineers and Engineering Managers.
  • •Move the platform from keep-the-lights-on to deliberate, prioritized development.
  • •Build operational efficiency features for field officers (trip and route optimization, task allocation, capacity management).
  • •Own client-facing capabilities (APIs/webhooks and the back office) and ensure verification data is structured and auditable for compliance scrutiny.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of overall software engineering experience with substantial hands-on production engineering and strong backend depth (Java/Spring Boot).
  • •5+ years of engineering leadership, including managing Engineering Managers.
  • •Experience building across backend, web, and mobile—able to operate credibly across all three layers.
  • •Proven ability to translate operational requirements into engineering solutions while partnering closely with product and business stakeholders.
  • •Experience with location/geospatial data and route/trip optimization is a strong plus; experience building compliance-focused verification platforms and/or identity/KYC tooling is a plus.
