Job Summary

Own early-stage planning assurance and contractor management governance for IS&T vendor-delivered site work, ensuring scopes are defined, risks are addressed upfront, and delivery aligns with Rio Tinto HSES standards. Lead the contractor management supervision model, coach contract owners on work design and safe execution, identify planning gaps that create safety/schedule/productivity risk, and manage demand/capacity forecasting across the PMO portfolio in partnership with IS&T HSE.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure IS&T vendor-delivered work is planned, governed, and executed safely, effectively, and predictably across site environments.
•Lead the contractor management supervision model, ensuring scopes are well defined and risks are addressed up-front before mobilisation.
•Partner with delivery leads, project managers, and contract owners to strengthen site-based work planning and definition.
•Coach contract owners on scope development, supplier qualification, execution methodologies, and safe work design.
•Own contractor management demand and capacity forecasting across the PMO portfolio, and manage IS&T APAC HSES procedures, systems, and data including incident response and improvements.
