Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver reinforcement construction drawings based on engineers’ intent and global information.
  • •Agree on drawing strategy, type, size, and drawing numbering with project engineers and suggest efficient drawing production methods.
  • •Develop and model building elements using structural drawings/PDFs or hand drafts in Revit.
  • •Prepare and amend models/drawings to WSP Switzerland standards and use templates/library items to support design work.
  • •Support QA, document control, and archiving; assist in estimation and costing for CAD/BIM projects when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Produce reinforcement construction drawings and quantities from global information/intention from engineers.
  • •Proficiency with CADSRC/AutoCAD and BIM workflows using Revit and Allplan/BAcad, including latest versions and standard functions.
  • •Experience delivering 3D reinforcement modelling and specifications/bar bending schedules.
  • •Knowledge of both structural and architecture disciplines, and ability to develop building elements from structural drawings/PDFs or hand drafts in Revit.
  • •Good working knowledge of industry standards and international codes, plus experience working on projects of varying sizes independently and in a team.
