Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the lead position for job execution and overall performance under broad direction.
  • •Advise client representatives on BHA selection and all aspects of DD performance, including well plan compliance and authorized deviations.
  • •Use DD software to provide site analysis and directional survey data, including required calculations and projections.
  • •Ensure daily DD reporting and complete BHA performance reports for each BHA run, including expected vs actual performance and recommendations.
  • •Inspect and maintain directional drilling equipment readiness at the work site, coordinate with MWD engineers for compatibility, and ensure proper records and procedures are followed.

  • •Completion of an undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline.
  • •At least five years of experience.
  • •Expertise advising on Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) selection and Directional Drilling (DD) performance.
