Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct, assess, and document integration, system, performance, reliability, and regulatory verification tests in line with defined quality and safety standards.
  • •Create and develop test designs, test protocols/procedures, and technical documentation based on requirements, risk analyses, and product changes.
  • •Ensure comprehensive test coverage by selecting suitable test methods, tools, and test/measurement procedures, and analyze and document results.
  • •Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot test systems, automated test scripts, test benches, and measurement instruments, including NI-based test and measurement environments.
  • •Plan and integrate NI hardware and software, and contribute to LabVIEW-, C/C++-, UML-, and Git-based development and test processes, using AI-assisted tools to analyze test data and improve methods.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed technical degree, ideally with a master’s or bachelor’s degree, plus several years of relevant experience in test, development, or lab environments.
  • •Solid knowledge of hardware, software, system integration, and verification processes, including automated test systems (ideally National Instruments, LabVIEW, HiL) and C/C++, UML, and Git/GitHub.
  • •Experience conducting, evaluating, and documenting regulatory, performance, and reliability tests, including maintaining technical and regulatory documentation.
  • •Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements for medical systems, especially IEC 60601 (including National Deviations) as well as IEC, CSA, and ideally FDA standards.
  • •Confident handling of measurement and testing techniques, including error analysis and troubleshooting of test/measurement systems; strong interest in AI-assisted methods for test execution and data analysis.
  • •Very good German and English skills, and enjoyment of collaboration in interdisciplinary and international teams.
