Key Responsibilities

  • •Work on a range of energy-sector projects focused on low or zero-carbon technologies such as wind, solar PV, battery storage, carbon capture, hydrogen, and thermal power.
  • •Develop civil & structural solutions to complex problems and support projects across feasibility, concept, front-end engineering, and detailed design.
  • •Handle structural deliverables including structural design reports, BIM models, general arrangement drawings, and detailed structural drawings.
  • •Support multidisciplinary teams, including development of plant layouts.
  • •Develop proposals and bids for civil & structural content of projects and contribute to multi-disciplinary proposals.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a relevant Engineering subject.
  • •Working towards chartered status with a relevant Engineering Institution.
  • •Solid experience in civil & structural detailed design.
  • •Detailed knowledge of national and international codes and standards.
  • •Experience producing calculations and designs, including using structural design software (Robot Professional, STAAD Pro) and CAD tools (Revit, AutoCAD).
