Job Summary

Drive sales and ensure efficient store operations for a sports retail location, aligning with GMG norms for customer service, visual merchandising, and team performance. Lead and coach the store team, communicate targets, maintain loss prevention and cash-handling compliance, and manage POS activities, returns, and inventory accuracy. Monitor sales performance and market trends to propose actions that improve profitability, while overseeing staffing schedules and store administration audits.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and drive store sales through efficient store operations, visual merchandising, and customer service delivery.
•Communicate store targets, drive financial objectives, and maintain loss prevention standards including cash handling, fraud, and theft compliance.
•Oversee POS activities including sales transactions, order and payment tracking, inventory updates, returns and refunds, and customer feedback data collection.
•Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to propose action plans to increase sales and profitability.
•Lead store administration: audits, resolving issues, scheduling and shift coverage, inventory management, stock counts/spot checks, and training the team in inventory techniques.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5-7 years of relevant industry experience in retail operations, with at least 3 years in a similar supervisory role.
•Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
•Product/category knowledge to support sports brand performance.
•Strong customer orientation to deliver excellent service.
•Fluent English (written and spoken); Arabic skills are an added advantage.
