Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate group and GTS Technology strategy into technical strategy and execution to fulfill business needs and growth aspirations.
  • •Plan people and project management, providing coaching and clear direction to teams delivering high-quality software and deliverables per HSBC standards.
  • •Address technical debt and drive technical evolution (Trade Transformation) by working with business stakeholders, SMEs, and Solution Architects globally.
  • •Manage stakeholder expectations, align supply and demand pipeline decisions, and ensure end-to-end accountability for technology solutions across the customer journey.
  • •Ensure compliance with regulatory issues and internal controls, manage operational risk, and meet service resilience and recovery time objectives.

Key Requirements

  • •Over 15 years of IT industry experience, including monitoring and controlling phases of the software development lifecycle, with strong senior leadership and delivery management.
  • •10+ years of solid Trade Finance domain knowledge with technical know-how, including hands-on support and enhancement of banking/finance systems.
  • •Knowledge of high-level systems architecture and processes, including user journeys in Trade Finance.
  • •Proven experience defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • •Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with production support and incident management experience.
