Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the GenAI platform for the whole group, including the LLM gateway, MCP gateway, agent platform, plugin marketplace, spec-driven development tooling, evals, and agent observability.
  • •Lead embedded engineers into marketing, HR, finance, and operations to redesign processes as AI-native and generalize successful builds back into the platform.
  • •Build group-wide GenAI capability through curriculum, cohorts, and per-function enablement paths measured on demonstrated skill.
  • •Co-create GenAI strategy with central functions leadership, partner with Product to produce a delivery roadmap, and own budget and investment decisions.
  • •Lead and develop Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers across Berlin and Warsaw, scaling AI-native working practices into BAU while maintaining guardrails, evals, model routing, cost control, and the compliance boundary with Security, Legal, and Procurement.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in software engineering and 5+ years leading Engineering Managers across more than one discipline.
  • •Experience holding teams accountable for delivery and technical quality.
  • •Designed, built, and shipped agentic systems, including context engineering, tool calling, orchestration, retrieval, and evaluation harnesses.
  • •Built internal platforms that engineers adopted, with clear understanding of platform vs feature shipping.
