Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery through production deployment and consumption growth.
  • •Lead complex architecture discussions, designing scalable, production-grade solutions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
  • •Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors.
  • •Demonstrate Databricks differentiation in competitive scenarios via custom-built solutions.
  • •Orchestrate cross-functional resources (DSAs, SSAs, Partners) to deliver comprehensive solutions and provide structured feedback on requirements and competitive gaps.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or a senior hands-on technical role.
  • •Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL, including live coding, debugging, and solution-building.
  • •Expertise in distributed data systems architecture, including scalable pipelines, streaming architectures, lakehouse patterns, and cloud-native data platforms.
  • •Ability to demonstrate proficiency with the Databricks Platform (or achieve it rapidly) while developing a technical specialization.
  • •Experience leading architecture discussions (whiteboarding, design reviews, trade-off analysis) and running production deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP with infrastructure, security, and governance considerations.
