Production Management Trainee

Develop a comprehensive understanding of plant operations and manufacturing processes through mentor-guided on-the-job training. Learn product procedures, panel and lumber grades, lumber math, cuts and yields, and operational business systems. Build knowledge of product costing, production scheduling, and budget/expense control, while supporting continuous improvement, efficiency standards, and safety. Gain broader operational insight by touring other facilities and customer locations, completing courses and preparing reports as assigned.
