Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure underwriting teams meet key operational performance goals and staffing models.
  • •Assess underwriting processes and implement technical standards, controls, practices, and procedures to maintain underwriting disciplines and drive improvements.
  • •Follow up with producers on new business status, upcoming renewals, and renewals in process, and take appropriate action.
  • •Provide customer service and account management, including resolving billing issues, making policy changes, and answering coverage-related questions.
  • •Conduct performance evaluations and career development conversations; make staffing and training decisions and support onboarding and cross-training initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,200 - 164,100 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in the Insurance, Underwriting or Market Facing area, or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years, or Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice (including Associate Degree) and 6+ years.
  • •Knowledge of the insurance industry and the legal and regulatory environment.
  • •Experience researching, compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing data and metrics.
  • •Experience working in a production and metrics performance environment.
  • •Experience preparing and managing operational budget, plus Microsoft Office experience.
  • •People management experience.
