Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot and provide technical support for instrumentation and electrical equipment across the Bakken asset area.
  • •Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of instrumentation, electrical, and controls equipment; complete associated documentation.
  • •Carry out preventive maintenance checks for I&E equipment at well sites and central facilities and complete paperwork correctly and timely.
  • •Communicate findings to enable root-cause analysis, support collaboration across the area of responsibility, and pursue cost reduction opportunities.
  • •Respond to emergencies/on-call needs, perform loop/logic checks for commissioning support, and create/respond to SAP notifications and process work orders.

Key Requirements

  • •Legally authorized to work in the United States and hold a current/valid driver’s license.
  • •1+ years of experience with low, medium, and high voltage circuits.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of National Electric Codes and electronic test instruments.
  • •Intermediate knowledge of process controls for oil and gas processing devices and process; intermediate knowledge of SCADA applications.
  • •Ability to safely perform field work (climb ladders/stairs up to 50 feet, lift/transport up to 50 pounds, work in harsh weather, wear PPE, and work alone/on-call with unscheduled overtime and a rotational schedule).
