Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver quality obstetrics nursing care with a multi-professional team and coordinate nursing teams to enable optimal patient care.
  • •Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.

  • •Provide accurate and comprehensive records of nursing interventions and ensure utilised stock and equipment are accurately charted.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse or a 4-year Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing.

  • •Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
  • •Ability to develop or modify a nursing care plan and maintain accurate nursing record keeping.
  • •Knowledge of infection prevention and control, pharmacology, and relevant nursing legislation.
