Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Account Executives to position Mapbox’s technical value and shape opportunities.
  • •Lead technical discovery to understand customer goals, requirements, and success criteria, and ensure solution designs meet business objectives.
  • •Design and present scalable architectures using Mapbox SDKs, APIs, and platform services.
  • •Build and deliver proof-of-concept solutions that demonstrate measurable customer value.
  • •Apply expertise in GIS, spatial data, and location intelligence to solve customer problems.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in solutions architecture, customer-facing engineering (pre-sales, post-sales), or consulting.
  • •Fluent in Korean and English (both written and verbal communication)
  • •Location: must reside in Japan or South Korea
  • •Proven experience with GIS, location intelligence, and geospatial data (e.g., spatial databases, vector and raster data, geocoding, routing, map rendering)
  • •Proficiency in web and mobile technologies (Required: JavaScript; Highly desirable: Swift, Kotlin, Python; Desirable: React Native, Flutter)
